Irina Shayk can normally be found smizing in downtown Manhattan, but recently she’s been photographed smiling from ear-to-ear. That’s not typically what you see in off-duty supermodel photos, but it makes sense given that she’s been wearing the $2,290 Burberry Olympia bag on repeat for the past couple of days. If we owned the bag and could wear it with all of our summer outfits, we’d be giddy, too.
Shayk styled the bag with a pair of leather pants, a cropped white Burberry top, and Celine sunglasses. Most importantly, she wore the fancy version of Birkenstocks with a platform sole and gold buckles.
While we have yet to identify the brand behind the shoe, the style is a simple two-strap sandal that can be easily found for under $50 or $100 at Nordstrom by brands like Schutz and Sam Edelman. Free People and Dr. Marten’s also have takes that feel distinct to each brand, but with a similar enough silhouette to the most love-to-hate sandal on the internet.
So if you’re not sold on the ugly sandal trend, consider a slightly fancier version with blinged out embellishments or a braided strap. It’s still just as comfortable, but slightly more supermodel-approved. Now all we need is a way to cop a Burberry Olympia bag, and our dream Irina Shayk-inspired wardrobe will be complete.
